The food does all the talking at this venerable bastion. Between Boulder and So. Logan, I've spent many a morning enjoying trout and eggs, benoits, and the many other masterpieces this place puts out. Keep up the excellent job and get a parking lot.

Do your wallet and your stomach a favor - avoid this place. After ordering breakfast, a drink and tipping, I ended up paying about $26 for grease and a watered down bloody mary. The food was heavy and after tasting my friends meals, everything had the same relative flavors even though we all ordered totally different things. If you want $2 bloodys/mimosas and food not soaked in grease do yourself a favor and forgo this place for a visit to the Hornet for weekend brunch in the same neighborhood.

I was recommended to check this place out for breakfast. From the outside it looked so cute and nice, then when we got inside, the female indifference was well, just to cool for us. The waitress was more interested in being everyone's best friend instead of actually listening to what we wanted. The eggs benedict was less than perfect, the bloody mary was watered down, and we were given the same biscuit 2 times after we said we only ordered one. Nothing special, RK

I actually saw a server balancing 4 glasses of water with one of them propped up under her chin...WUH? Was my first time there. Food was good but service was mediocre at best.

I came to Denver to visit friends and we stopped by Lucile's one Saturday morning.. it was awesome! the waitress was super cool, very friendly and paid attention to our special orders.. the food was delicious! the pain perdu is soooo amazing, and although we had to wait a little while, the bloody marys definitely tied us over. I wish we had one in Florida!
