Lower Highlands Dermatology is a full service medical and cosmetic skin care clinic staffed by Drs. Carretero and Chan. We are dedicated to providing a full range of medical skin care for patients ranging of all ages from childhood to adult. Care is provided in our beautiful new clinic located in the lower highlands neighborhood 1 mile west of lower downtown. All major insurances are accepted. Cosmetic services include microdermabrasion, chemical peels, laser treatments (hair removal, IPL, and resurfacing), Botox and fillers (Restylane, Juvenderm, and Radiesse). At our clinic patients first be evaluated by a physician prior to any cosmetic procedures, and all cosmetic procedures involving injections will always be performed by a physician. Of course we take pride in serving the needs of general dermatology patients. Skin conditions frequently treated include but are not limited to acne, rosacea, skin cancer, mole checks, eczema, psoriasis, and warts.

Services offered cover the scope from skin cancer screening and pediatric dermatology to cosmetics.

Dr. Carretero has become a board member of the Level One Society of the Denver Health Foundation and Project PAVE. Highly involved in the community Dr. Carretero is a member of a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, a member of the Colorado Medical Society, Denver Country Medical Society and the Colorado Dermatological Society.
