I have been wanting to get an antique jewelry box fixed for a few years. It was given to me by my parents the year my grandma died, and it was her's, so it's very important to me. Over the years and the moves I've made, it got banged up and was in bad shape. I couldn't figure out where to take it, though, so it sat in my closet waiting. My brother found Jim's name on this website, and he not only came to my house to give me a quote (all the way across town) for free, but also took it with him, and returned it in 3 days. He was polite and kind and went out of his way to make this easy for me. His workmanship was exceptional - he put it back together and refinished it. It now looks like it did when my parents gave it to me. Not only that, but he gave me some background checking on it for me. I didn't know it was around 75 years old and made of birch, but I do now, and it gives a little more meaning to the piece. It is beautiful and I love it. My husband is going to wrap it up and give it to me for Christmas, exactly 25 years after I first got it. Thanks Jim!
