Gross..... So I was reading Westword's review of Indulge, and was very excited, seeing as I live blocks from. My wife and I were extremely disappointed! The food was TERRIBLE! And the ambiance was horrendous. too bright in there, every table was squashed together. I alway's thought the Westword's reviews were always off, especially of what they thought was quality cuisine, but this took the cake.

If you like trendy, don't go here. If you like chain restaurants, don't go here. If you like very good, old-fashioned Italian food that tastes Italian and not influenced by the southwest, eat here. Mikey's is the best. The homemade spaghetti is wonderful. Everything is wonderful.

Despite the mixed Citysearch reviews, my wife and I decided to give Mikey's a try. We really enjoyed our dinner. I had the chicken parm and she had the baked ziti. Definitely great value for money and quite tasty. The staff was super friendly. It seemed that everybody working there made a point of coming by to make sure we had everything we needed and were happy with the food.

I went on a Friday night to Mikeys expecting to use my Entertainment book card. I've been to Mikeys about 10 times in the past 2 years and I was hoping for the same great food and service. I was extremely disappointed this time around. I ordered the Chicken Parmigiana and my friend ordered the Chicken Marsala. The pasta for both our dishes was extremely soggy. The sauce was more bitter than I had remembered and the chicken was decent however for $13.95 I would have expected a little bit more of a tender piece of chicken. The Chicken Marsala was 16.95 and again the pasta was soggy amd covered in the bitter tomato sauce. The chicken was ok, but certainly not worth $17.00. When I presented my Entertainment card I was told that I had to be seated prior to 6:00 PM or after 8:00 PM. This stipulation was in fine print on the Entertainment book ad page for the restaurant. Not exactly the restaurants fault, however, I did state that I had been to the restaurant on many occasions in the past without a coupon and wondered if they could make an exception. They did not. I won't go back to Mikeys again. Not because of the Entertainment book fiasco, because life is too short to eat soggy pasta from a supposed ITALIAN restaurant. They must have changed cooks or lost their star chef since the food was simply average this time around.
