Ugly Waitresses

I used to frequent Chopper's regularly for over a year. It would be a good bar if the staff weren't more interested in getting wasted than they are serving their customers. Lots of good TVs, but really expensive. Further, all their wait staff are girls, but NONE of them are even slightly attractive. Recommended if you want to spend $7 per beer, witness the creepy regulars sexually harass anything that moves, and watch your server wipe her nose every 2 minutes. Otherwise, go elsewhere.

You shot yourself in the foot on Sat. night Choppers. With the place packed with customers who had come out to watch the Rockies fight for a playoff birth, you stood by your insane logic of first come first serve. So while the place erupted everytime the Rockies scored, we still had to listen to the sound of the Florida Auburn football game. To live in Denver and not be able to go to a local bar and cheer for the home team in such a crucial game is beyond me. So to put your asinine logic into perspective, I should be able come into your establishment this Sun. when the Broncos host the Chargers, and get there early enough to have the TVs and the sound turned to any game I please, no matter how many Broncos fans may protest. Sound logical? Choppers, keep up with your type of logic and you will no longer have to worry about customers like myself or any customers for that matter. Go Broncos! Go Rockies!
Not a Colorado Sprots ber

Went to watch the Rockies fight for the palyoff spot, and were truly dissapointed. The bar was crowded and 95% Rockied fans creating a great atmosphere with everyone cheering on the Rockies (which was showing on the majority of the TV's). Unfortunatly, The sound loudly projected thru the bar was the sound for the SCC football game that was playing on one big screen and one small screen and had one table watching it. After speaking with the "manager" he protested changing the sound even at half time of the football game. He said it was fist come first served on the sound and the 1 table of scc fans had asked first. I think it was a terrbile decision that turned off the majoity of the paying customers and showed a complete disrespect of the Colorado sports culture. I highly doubt I could walk into a Florida bar and get sound playing for a Rockies game. It would ave even been ok to here the sound for the CSU game at least it represents a Colorado team. The food is overpriced and nothing special. But the did have a decent beer special. Overall would not go back.
Disappointed and annoyed

This bar is setup GREAT for football, but they fail to turn the volume up to hear the game. Yet, halfway through the games there is an annoying guy on the mic playing some lame trivia game. The whole bar is packed with people to watch football, not play trivia. You could tell everyone around was frustrated. Us, along with half the bar was requesting the volume on the game, but they continued refusing saying they "just couldn't do that". It was the weekend opener for football, which is why everyone was there in the first place and they have on Div. III football games from teams in Tennesse and refuse to change the channel for us. We asked around and many people said they don't turn on the volume, but supposedly it's the best bar to watch football in the area, I guess just not listen to it. I doubt we will ever return and their food is overpriced. We paid $8 for 6 buffalo wings!

This is absolutely the BEST Sports Bar in Denver! They have it all. Everything is great. WIngs are fantastic! I will always come back for more.
