We specialize in hardcover and paperback original 1st edition literary fiction, but you will also find an eclectic selection of biography, graphic design, art, literary criticism, essays, letters, antiquarian books, unique children's books, and off-the-beaten path gift books. We also boast the largest poetry section in the region.

DID YOU KNOW BOOK BUFFS HAS TWO BOOK CLUBS?
We are now accepting payment for new and renewing members for both clubs.You simply pay the yearly fee and then receive the books to read as you wish.

Back by popular demand, we have our hardcover fiction club in which members receive four selections per year (approximately one per quarter). We usually pick lesser known authors and smaller publishers and sometimes we are even able to get the books signed by the author. We stress high-quality and unique literary fiction in our selections. We are also introducing a paperback originals club. Membership works the same as the other club, but we will select a wide variety of good books that came out only as paperbacks. The selections may be fiction, fiction in translation, or non-fiction. Of course, we will continue to stress high-quality and unique work. See website for Membership Pricing.

Located in the historic Old South Pearl Street shopping district in south central Denver, Book Buffs, Ltd. takes pride in sharing the finest literary offerings to booklovers. If you come and browse our shelves you'll find new, used, signed, and collectable works. We specialize in hardcover and paperback original 1st edition literary fiction, but you will also find an eclectic selection of biography, graphic design, art, literary criticism, essays, letters, antiquarian books, unique children's books, and off-the-beaten path gift books. We also boast the largest poetry section in the region. You'll want to browse our book arts room where we showcase the work of book artists and fine letterpresses, which include a variety of broadsides, some of which Book Buffs has published.

Book Buffs Ltd. has a strong commitment to sharing literary voices with the book community. To that end, we sponsor book signings and readings at our store regularly. Many are held in co-sponsorship with The Colorado Endowment for the Humanities Center for the Book. For both Denver-area booklovers as well as those far from our shop, we publish a quarterly newsletter featuring interesting articles and our own reviews on books and book arts. Additionally, we share fine fiction through our expanding book club. Quarterly, we choose a work of fiction, selected by us and send them to our members.
