Brute Force used on patrons

Posted byIronjawon 11/30/2009

Watched as a couple of patrons were playing $8 flip cup and were told they owed the bartenders $20 in tips. These kids weren't informed before hand and most college students don't have that kind of money. One was celebrating her 21st birthday. The bouncer came over and proceeded to kick them out grabbing the boyfriend by the neck. When the 100 pound girlfriend tryed to stop the bouncer grabbed her arm and threw her into the crowd injuring her. The two didn't do anything and were just putting on their coats but not moving fast enough for the big jerk. Mr. Rent-a-cop just sat there texting ignoring any involvement. Downtown security patrol stopped the two and got their story saying this isn't the first time and got Mr. Rent-a-cop who told them he could either take them to detox, jail or let them go home. The two were NOT intoxicated and the threat was uncalled for. I am appalled to say the least and so were many other patrons who witnessed the attack and the unethical business tactics of the bartenders DEMANDING a $20 tip. This establishment needs to be investigated by the attorney general and have their liquor license pulled. I feel sorry for the young lady who was celebrating her 21st birthday. SHAME ON COYOTE UGLY bullies.

Fun!

I must say I was suprised when I walked into Blue last Sunday. The atmosphere was unlike any shop I had been to in town. They had some crazy patterned wall paper on one wall, interesting lighting and beautiful dresses. Their look was a loft vibe, which was nice because they are downtown, however, it was still welcoming and cozy. I was also impressed by their staff. The girls there really cared that I was happy with the dress I decided to buy. At one point I walked out and one of the girls stated that this was not my dress and it was written all over my face. It made me feel good that they were honest and not trying to just sell me something to make a sale. When I did find the dress it was 10% off because it was a designer trunk show that weekend. I was very impressed and very happy with Blue, I would highly recommend them to any bride to be!

Love the store and staff

I walked in without an appointment and a fear that nothing would fit me. The owner, Aubrie and associate Hannah were GREAT! I had an awesome experience. We pulled at least seven dresses, I fell in love with#2! Aubrie instantly gave me a discount. The only problem was when I went to pay. Their credit card system authorized my card twice. Since the store closes early, I couldnt resolve the issue with my bank until late morning! To make it up to me Aubrie gave me a $100 off!

AMAZING!!!

I purchased my wedding dress at Blue. The dress selection is small, but all the gowns are so beautiful. Best of all I felt like their staff really got to know me and were eager to make sure I had my dream dress. The remembered me every time I went back!!! Would highly recommend, Aubrie and Sarah are awesome!

so my boyfriend and i made this our last stop of the night. just to check it out. we ended up playing flip cup with the bartender. my boyfriend went first, and just as he flipped his cup the girl starts calling him a cheater and telling him he flipped his cup wrong, then I go next and she calls me a cheater for flipping my cup wrong. She tells us that we need to start with our cup upside down and "flip" it so it lands upside down. I told her that is NOT flip cup rules and she calls me a liar and a cheater. First of all I went to University of Florida and have played my fair share of flip cup games and I have NEVER EVER played that way. She also filled her cups about 1 inch, while everyone elses cup was filled half way. SO of course we lost and guess what we tipped her. a big whopping F*CK YOU BIATCH. DO NOT GO TO THIS BAR. IF YOU DO GO GIVE A BIG WHOPPING BIRD TO ANGELA BECAUSE SHE IS THE MOST HORRIBLE BAR B*TCH AND DOESNT KNOW HOW TO PLAY FLIP CUP. it's called flip cup for a reason, you FLIP the CUP, not rotate it 360 degrees biatch
