Incredibly disappointed

Posted byhighlighter177on 8/30/2008

First off, no, there's no smoking. Ok, so that's how it is pretty much anywhere now. Second, the show started almost a half hour late. I'm sorry, what's so hard about getting a half dozen geriatric drag queens to start their show on time? Oh yeah.... It might be that they're older than Moses and can't read a clock to know when they're supposed to show up. Big.... Big.... BIG waste of time. Wretched lip synching. Bartender is tidy with the pour. More soused patrons than chairs. We were really looking forward to some hilarity and entertainment but ended up walking out after 3 acts.

Very GOOD local restaurant and bar.

Great food/ pleasant/neighborhood/ bar/restaurant. Very friendly patrons and staff Decent, fun folks to have a beer with, grab one of Joe's great dinners and chill. Specials /american food menu/ combo of mom's home cooking/lots of little surpises on various days and seasons /Monday's are usually spagetti night (call) with excellent al'dente pasta/rich meat tomaoe sauce/salad/french bread. All you can eat $3.50. You can't beat that! The bar is fun with the usual games, including darts. A sunken and curved bar has all the fixings and the bartenders are attentuive and generous. Ther are many nights of various entertainment. Drag/Male Dancers/Lip-sink extrvaganza's of many types (call). Oh, I almost forgot, outside the small restaurants glass windows on Thursday they have volleyball! from about 7:00 on, Lot's of nice eye-candy! This place grows on you. Very reasonable but excellent home-made food!

The drag shows on Friday and Saturday evenings are top notch and are usually staged for the purpose of raising funds for various charitable causes. The staff, entertainers and regular customers are very friendly and welcoming to newcomers and visitors.

The Best Bar intown

This bar has to be the friendliest place in town. And the owner Bob is a gem to the community.

Super Time

I had a great time there this past Tuesday. I was in town on business and made the mistake of going to 60 South on Monday night- what a bore. But this place was fun on Tuesday night. The strippers were all very good looking and really worked hard for their tips. It wasn't real croweded, but that was fine with me - more attention from the guys.
