I went here with several girlfriends for a birthday party, and was blown away by how terrible the whole experience was. Thank goodness the company made up for the cold rubbery food and sub-par service. We had to wait over an hour to be served, which is understandable for a group of six or more, but when the food came out it was cold, and not just one or two dishes but everything. This leads me to believe that our table was not our servers's top priority, because she was already guaranteed an 18% gratuity, on the entire check, wine and all. The fish must have been flown in last year, as it was bearly edible. I went with a safe bet of a chicken cesar salad, that came out smothered in dressing and was priced at $15.00 (one of the less expensive dishes). Someone in our party ordered a burger , the cheese and bacon that was requseted was left off the burger, but curiously ended up on our bill. Then when the cake was dropped off, it was just that. Dumped and we were forced to serve it ourselves, and didn't see a dime of the 18% gratuity. Overall I would only go to the aquarium to see live fish, and will never eat there again and will let anyone who will listen know that this is not the place to go if you want good food at a reasonable price served in an appropriate time/manner

Today was a cold rainy day, and the aquarium was a great way to spend the day. I am from Chicago, and this aquarium kicks its butt. There is so much to do. We were able to feed and pet the stingrays for just 2.68. Everything was so interactive, and the restaurant had excellent food.

Made the mistake of taking my son here for his 29th birthday. Big mistake. Very mediocre food grossly overpriced. Rice was uncooked, veggies were cold, "grilled" shrimp smothered with an evil-tasting sauce not mentioned on the menu. $6 to park your car unless you leave after 9pm. NOT WORTH IT. Fish in the tank were cute, and very entertaining, which made the evening tolerable.

The dinner was Outstanding! I expected casual food and ended up with every meal being Great! The appetizers, shrimp & rice were cooked to perfection. Our non-seafood friends had the chicken-fried-chicken and it was marvelous! Our group ranged from 12 to 83 years of age. The atmosphere was stimulated by lively conversation by watching the several tanks of fish. I never knew fish could be so entertaining. We never have desert so based on the meal, we had to try the desert and just like the meals, they came out superb. We honestly expected an "ok night" and had a WONDERFUL TIME WITH GREAT FOOD!. The previous reviews do not do the staff justice. I applaud the staff and look forward to going back. This is one place to take friends from out of town or your family to enjoy. The parking lot was very well lighted, easy and validated by the restaurant. Thank you for a Great Time and fabulous food! We enjoyed the scuba diver feeding time too.

We visted the Aquarium Restaurant tonight w/ a party of 8. The atmosphere is wonderful, especially for those with children. We called ahead and were placed on the list and arrived at 5pm with no wait whatsoever. Our server was friendly and attentive. We started with the Bruschetta and Shrimp & Crab Dip. Would have liked a stronger cheese in the Bruschetta, the Dip was tasty but mostly cheese. Both could have used more toasted bread for the amount of dip and topping. Our party ordered the following dishes: Steak Wrap (which was tasty but the steak was cut in tiny pieces.) Macadamia Crusted Trout (no complaints) Grilled Mahi Mahi & Jumbo Shrimp (good) Golden Fried Shrimp (Good) Grilled Shrimp (served w/ an odd green sauce over it, that while tasty was not very appealling to look at) Fried Captains Platter (Wow...everything on the plate is fried! No veggies.) Southwest Seafood Platter (A tasty enough dish with spicy blackened salmon and tuna and pasta in a cream sauce.) While none of us found the food to be exceptional....it was good enough, and plenty of it. The only complaint being a concensus that the side broccoli, carrots and cauliflower were not done enough. While we like them a little on the crunchy side, these were too much so. It is neat to sit amidst the sharks and multitudes of swimming fish but we wouldn't rush back on account of the food alone. Sort of one of those places you should experience at least once.
