Flower Care
How can I make my flowers last longer? Certain varieties of cut flowers last longer than others. Carnations, for example, can remain vibrant for long periods. Roses have a shorter vase life, but are prized for their special and delicate beauty. When buying flowers, be sure to ask your florist how long you should expect your arrangement to last. Whatever variety you choose, a little TLC will go a long way to keep your blooms looking fresh longer. Here are a few handy tips that can help add days to their beauty!
Essentials for your flowers Keep them in a cool spot (65 to 72 degrees Fahrenheit; 18 to 22 degrees Celsius), away from direct sunlight, heating or cooling vents, direct drafts from a ceiling fan, and the tops of televisions or radiators. (Appliances like televisions give off heat, causing flowers to dehydrate.)
About Amore Fiori Flowers & Gifts

This is the 3rd year Amori Fiori has organized a holiday wreath making party for myself and 16 of my friends. They brought the fresh greens, leaves, berries and bows and taught us how to make our own holiday wreaths. They were helpful and had ideas for all of the different "tastes" in the room. The shop also has so many wonderful gifts for teachers, mother-in-law, etc. on my Christmas list. Thanks for another wonderful year!

I used Amore Fiori for flowers for my mom's funeral. I called them late in the day; they were very attentive to detail, made some very helpful suggestions and delivered them to the service on time. It was a great relief to get such top service since I don't live in Denver. I have always heard that sevice is better if a customer has direct contact with a local florist.

I had a situation, called anniversary, that crept up on me unsuspectingly. The day happened and luckily these guys put together the most beaufitul and romantic arrangement for my wife. All I have to say is that was close...Thanks!

not very friendly and a very limited selection of flowers. Store is in a very nice location, but it just isn't what you would expect for such a nice area.

I called to order a sympathy plant for a friend. The representative couldn't seem to go out of order of her list of questions. She then asked me what occasion the 'gift' was for. Then she asked if I wanted specific fresh flowers. I told her I looked on line and liked the ### plant. She repeated the wrong number, so I told it to her again, then she put me on hold to look it up. Typically I'm kind and patient, but I hung up because I felt I was sent to some random (not at the store) teller. I can call 1-800 flowers if I wanted that. I might try the store some day, but I'll never call again.
