I'm not sure what the unimpressed reviewers below are talking about. I wouldn't take my dog anywhere BUT American Dog School. Watching Sean work with my dog is amazing; she seems to know inherently that Sean is kind but also in charge. She seems to actually enjoy her time at the kennel! The facility is clean and animal-friendly, the staff are kind and always willing to answer questions, and, much like a great babysitter, Sean or the staffer who is present always take the time to chat for a few minutes about how my dog did while I was gone. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I went to the American Dog School to speak with a trainer and purchase a gift certificate for my boyfriend to have one on one dog training. When I pulled up and got out of the car, I could hear a dog barking in the back. Someone starting screaming at the dog to stop. It was impatient, high pitched, mean screaming. Is that how they train their dogs? I immediately got back in my car and left. I would never pay someone to scream at my dog!

I have been a client of American Dog School for several years now and have referred them to everyone I can. The training and knowledge that I've experienced there is second to none. Literally! I have also been a loyal boarding customer to American Dog School as well and I would absolutely not trust my dog and family member to anyone else. They have integrity, honesty and passion for what they do. I trust them implicitly!

I have worked with many different trainers and finally found someone who knows what he?s talking about. Sean not only understands dogs, but knows how to work with them and the owner. I have a very difficult dog and was beyond frustrated. Sean listened to my concerns and worked with my dog to overcome her problems. He also taught me how to handle my dog, which was a huge help. I?m not sure what the previous reviewer is talking about because Sean?s facility is clean and the staff clearly love what they do. I definitely think that people should do their homework before taking their dog to a trainer and if you do you?ll find that Sean, nor any of his staff, have any animal cruelty charges, nor anything of the sort, on their records. If you?re looking for a trainer that loves what he does, genuinely cares about dogs, and can handle any breed, temperament and behavioral problem, then you should contact Sean at American Dog School.
