Advanced Orthopedics is nothing but an assembly line; I just had my last post-op appointment two days ago and noted that there were three patients scheduled with my surgeon for the same time slot. My surgeon was so very compassionate, interested, 'taking all the time in the world' with me Preoperatively . . . . since then, it's a 360 degree turn around. He did not bring up pain management, I continue to be in significant pain post-operatively, nor say anything about me following up with him in the future despite that he prescribed narcotics for me two days ago for pain (a 15 day supply) and also prescribed Physical Therapy for me two times per week for the next three weeks. He only addressed these two issues when I asked him out at the desk upon completion of our appointment. What a disappointment!

PASSIONATE TO HER DISCIPLINE, COMPASSIONATE TO HER PATIENTS NEEDS, FEELINGS AND WELL-BEING. EXCELLENT SURGICAL SKILLS, PROFESSIONAL TO THE UTMOST. I AM FORTUNATE AND LUCKY TO HAVE FOUND HER. I WASN'T SURE I'D EVER FIND A DOCTOR I'D LET 'TOUCH' MY HAND. AN ORTHOPEDIST'S OFFICE WAS THE LAST PLACE I WANTED TO BE BUT I COULD NOT STAND THE PAIN ANY LONGER. SHE SINCERELY LISTENED TO MY FEARS AND PUT ME AT EASE WITH THE THINGS SHE COULD AND HONEST ABOUT THE UNKNOWNS. DR. THOMMEN THOROUGLY EXPLAINED THE PROCEDURE, EXPECTATIONS AND RISKS. I WILL RECOMMEND DR. THOMMEN HIGHLY TO ANYONE WHOSE HANDS ARE THEIR 'BREAD AND BUTTER' OR TALENT!
