Denver’s Best Night Clubs Dancers

Break out your sexy tops and your cute, comfortable dancing shoes for a memorable night at one of our city's hottest clubs. Dance for hours to the beat of music spun by some of the best DJs in the industry and even catch a glimpse of some of our city's own celebrities as they party away the night. LoDo is by far the best neighborhood to find these establishments, but here are some of the top spots to check out first both in the neighborhood and nearby.

1. Beta Nightclub

Our city's top spot for DJs to show off their skills and Denverites to show off their goods, Beta has already made a mark on LoDo in its short life. Many nights are open to those as young as 18, meaning you'll see a lot of college students dancing along to the powerful beats. Beta's owners made sure that every part of the experience is beyond expectations, from the revolutionary new Funktion-One sound system to the efforts to keep the club as environmentally friendly as possible. The state-of-the-art technology has attracted the talents of some of the best DJs in the world who create mind-blowing performances in the spectacularly designed club. The tradeoff for such quality is, of course, a high price tag. It's usually around $15 to even get into the club and the drinks are pretty pricey as well.

2. Suite 200

A preponderance of local celebrities has turned Suite 200 into one of the biggest spots in the city to be noticed. Filled with the likes of Nuggets players and reality television stars, there's always a line to get in the LoDo club, though if you're lucky you might just get a quick pass in from the bouncer. Should you be so fortunate, or should you have the patience to wait to get in, you'll be rewarded with a stellar club space that fits every desire. From plenty of dance space to numerous VIP booths, every facet virtually glows with style. Despite this great environment, there is usually no cover to get in which will let you splurge a bit more on drinks for yourself or the hottie by the bar.

3. The Jet Hotel

Many of our city's young elite can be found dancing and drinking the weekend hours away at Jet. Talented DJs, attentive bartenders and attractive dancers keep the scene active until last call, with plenty of soft couches to rest up on when you get tired of showing off your moves. If you've got the connections, the VIP floor offers an even better experience with plenty of tables as well as a huge dance floor and bar. At the end of the night there are always a few partiers who are too tipsy to make it home from LoDo. Should this happen to you, Jet's hotel rooms are a costly but easy solution to this particular issue.

4. La Rumba

Salsa is the dance of choice at La Rumba, where the floor is filled with those who are out for the sheer pleasure of showing off their moves. While hitting up La Rumba requires a fair bit of confidence in your skills, you don't have to be a pro to enjoy yourself. There are even early salsa lessons at 9:30 on Thursday and Saturday nights so you can pick up a few tips before the party begins. The biggest night by far, however, is the Friday night party called Lipgloss. On this night everyone including hipsters, rockers and the LoDo crowd turn La Rumba into a huge, unpretentious dance party.

5. The Church

The sheer thrill of drinking and dancing in a converted holy building should be enough reason to tempt you to check out The Church at least once. If you need more impetus than that, how about the variety of musical styles (rock, electronica, hip hop) that blast from different rooms and floors? Or the 18+ admission along with moderately priced drinks for the 21 and up crowd? It's irreverent, it's youthful, it's trendy: it's Capitol Hill.
