The brightly decorated two-story Children's Museum of Denver offers nine areas of interactive fun for young children and their families. The museum is adjacent to the Denver Aquarium in Central Platte Valley along Interstate 25. The first floor's forest-themed play area is geared with activities for toddlers while the second floor allows older children to create inventions in the Assembly Plant, make purchases in the grocery store, or create their own music.
Open Mon. - Fri. 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.; Sat. - Sun. 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Individuals $7.50; Seniors (60+) $5.50; Children 1 $5.50; Children under 1 are Free
Not a great bargin but a diversion for a few hours especially for young children (under 6). Hands-on play, clean-up free art zone, risk free tool area, a kid sized super market...and even a safe zone especially for toddlers, creepers and crawlers.
