Description:

The Denver Center for the Performing Arts contains ten separate performance spaces that total nearly 10,000 seats combined. The Boettcher Concert Hall was America's first theater-in-the-round and is home to the Colorado Symphony Orchestra while the recently renovated Ellie Caulkins Opera House is home to Opera Colorado and the Colorado Ballet. In addition, the complex showcases plays, concerts and musicals in the diverse space. The complex is located downtown, north of the Colorado Convention Center and contains several eating establishments.

DCPA has absolutely fantastic shows running year round. The theaters aren't anything great to look at, a little dated, but the seating is excellent, with plenty of different sized venues for different shows and events. I'd definitely recommend that any fan of the performing arts catch a show here.
